What is Graphic Design?
Graphic design is about organizing and presenting information creatively for a specific purpose. It’s widely used in branding, advertising, web design, and more.
Principles of Design
Good designs follow these six principles:
Emphasis: Focus attention on the key elements.
Balance: Ensure harmony between components.
Contrast: Add visual interest.
Repetition: Create consistency in designs.
Alignment: Keep elements organized.
Proximity: Group related items logically.
Key Visual Elements of Design
1️⃣ Line
Adds structure, frames, and divides information.
Creates hierarchy and guides attention.
Can be straight, curved, dashed, or solid.
2️⃣ Color
Primary Colors: Red, Yellow, Blue.
Secondary Colors: Green, Orange, Purple.
Tertiary Colors: Made by mixing primary and secondary.
Color Schemes:
Monochromatic: Shades of one color.
Analogous: Colors next to each other on the wheel.
Complementary: Opposite colors.
Triadic: Three evenly spaced colors.
